Support the Center for Climate & Security

CCS DONATE BUTTON MASSIVE PAINT_2014Dear Supporters,

This has been an important year for the climate and security space. As one of the few policy institutes exclusively focused on the critical nexus between climate change and security, there has been a lot of demand for the Center for Climate and Security’s analysis, convening, and policy development programs. In order to keep meeting that demand, we’re asking for your support. Your donation will make a significant difference in helping to bring more attention to this issue, and advancing policies for addressing climate risks.

The Center’s nonpartisan, risk management and strategic approach to climate change, which is inspired by the approach respected institutions such as the U.S. military follow, has contributed to a much more expansive dialogue on the issue in 2014, and to important policy advancements. This is mirrored by our growing team, including new fellows and senior fellows, and two distinguished additions to our Advisory Board; General Ronald Keys, USAF (ret) and CDR David “Deke” Slayton, USN (ret).

Without your support, and the support of the broader climate-security community, our work would not be possible. Please consider building on that support through an end-of-year donation to the Center for Climate and Security.

Thank you again, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Sincerely,

Francesco “Frank” Femia and Caitlin E. Werrell
Founding Directors
The Center for Climate and Security

Hello dear friends and colleagues! I really appreciate your work and I am sure that this activity has the highest priority for humanity at this time. Think it is important that it is time (as stated “green” in the city of Lima, Peru) move from informing people about the existing problems in the implementation of technology climate stabilization at least in a particular region of the world. As this region offers stabilize the climate in North America and in Europe. I believe that the implementation of available technology to avoid such manifestations of climate anomalies, such as hurricanes “Katrina”, “Sandy” and a number of regular European disasters. The “soft” version of the implementation of the technology will allow – mostly – to repeat the climatic parameters in North America and Europe the same as those were from the beginning of the XVIII century (end of the Little Ice Age) until the mid-twentieth century. The extent of damage from climate change – both existing and prospective – seems enormous; European Union countries and North America interested in exclusion of climatic anomalies. I am confident that The Center for Climate and Security can and should become the leading organization for carrying out the necessary works – how to refine existing technologies, and to implement it in practice. I am convinced that this scenario is necessarily remove the funding of planned activities. The more that we can not exclude the possibility of a Russian branch of The Center for Climate and Security.
    Respect, Vlad Fomin.
