According to WebWire, the “Sandia National Laboratories has signed a pair of cooperative research and development agreements (CRADAs) that could broadly add to the Labs’ research into combustion, defense, energy and nuclear security.” The Information Systems CRADA with Northrop Grumman, in particular, will include an evaluation of “energy and climate factors domestically and abroad,” in the context of enhancing defense systems technologies. According to the article, “the primary goal of the collaboration is to improve national security.” Will be interesting to see this project develop.
