Last week there was quite a bit in the news on climate and security issues.  Here is a quick look at some of the headlines.

• President Obama is set to release the White House’s climate policy plans on Tuesday. Heather Zichal, Deputy Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change, previewed some of strategies’ content at a forum hosted by The New Republic and American University’s Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies (a video of the event is available here). This is all following President Obama’s speech in Berlin where he noted that climate change was the “global threat of our time.” (more…)
