Watch: Gen. Sullivan on National Security Implications of Climate Change
The following is an announcement from Norwich University:
Norwich University welcomes former Army Chief of Staff and four-star General Gordon R. Sullivan, who will present, “National Security Implications of Climate Change” on February 5. Hosted by the College of National Services, Sullivan’s talk is the first of two spring Todd Lecture Series events in February 2015.
The event will take place at 7:00 p.m EST and there will be a live stream of the lecture.

Center for Climate and Security Advisory Board member, Brigadier General Gerald Galloway, United States Army (Retired), recently sat down with Yale Climate Connections to discuss how climate change-related impacts could disrupt shipping flows along the Mississippi River. Climate Security In the U.S. Army’s Strategy 2025

The U.S. Army’s Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment [OASA(IE&E)] released on Jan. 12, 2015 its “Strategy 2025.” According to the Army’s website, “OASA (IE&E) Strategy 2025 is important, as it serves to guide and shape the Army’s future and current actions related to Installations, Energy and Environment, as well as provide the strategic roadmap to achieve its vision.” Climate change is a part of this strategy.
