Kaitlin Lavinder is a non-resident Research Fellow at the Center for Climate and Security. She is also an analyst at Thomson Reuters Special Services, where she researches and writes reports on national security risks for a variety of clients. Previously, Kaitlin was a national security journalist based in Washington, DC. She has conducted on the ground research in Germany, Poland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. She holds an MA in International Relations and European Studies from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Media Studies from Temple University.
